The world famous Sophie is now famous in our household too, as she brings a smile to the face of both our little baby girl and our big boy. Sophie is a 100% natural rubber and food painted teething toy that was first made in May of 1961 and looked exactly the same then as she does today. The texture of the rubber is perfect for little ones needing to chew and rub their gums. She has a squeaker in her body but babies can easily chew on her feet and head (including horns and ears), and she is light weight with multiple grasping points making her easy for little hands to manage. We have been encouraged to state that Sophie maybe require supervision when used by very small babies as her feet could potentially block and airways if positioned incorrectly.
